About the Editors

Dr. Rema Hammami is a Palestinian-American writer and scholar. She is the author of the memoir Nineteen Varieties of Gazelle: Poems of the Intifada and the co-editor of the anthology Palestinians in America: A Compendium of Personal Narratives.

Dr. Nadia Abu El-Haj is a Palestinian-American anthropologist and professor at Barnard College, Columbia University. She is the author of the book Facts on the Ground: Archaeological Practice and Territorial Self-Fashioning in Israeli Society.
